|My mother upon her moving 6 years ago has managed to root her old homes pussy willow trees. Since doing so it is flourishing. She recently has rooted for me and is now roughly 2 i/2 ft. high and doing well.
Is it safe to transplant now in the fall. She is in zone 6 whearas I am border with 6 and 7.
Thanks for your time
|Either spring or fall are good seasons to transplant. Generally the weather is cool and rainfall abundant, both of which will help the roots become established. Water well after transplanting and water deeply once each week if rainfall is sparse. It should perform well for you once the roots are established.
Best wishes with your garden!
