Spring is the best time to prune your plants. Pruning usually promotes new growth which can be susceptible to winter kill if done too late in the season. Plus, if you prune your azalea now, you'll lose next spring's flower display. Wait until it has finished blooming and then prune it back. You can prune your Euonymus in early spring.

Best wishes with your garden.
