|There are two plants commonly called andromeda; bog rosemary and pieris. Each has their own growing preferences so I can't make a specific recommendation other than both like moist, well-draining soils. I'd prune back the worst of the plant and wait to see what it does. Bog rosemary likes full sunshine; pieris will grow in part shade. As long as the soil drains quickly, you can water deeply once each week during the growing season. Good luck with your plant!
