There are a number of plants you can include in your rock garden that will complement the ornamental grasses. Consider planting Aubrieta deltoidea ?Purple Gem?
Purple Gem Rockcress grows 4-6 in. in sun to part shade; Campanula poscharskyana Serbian bellflower grows 6-8 in.; Cerastium tomentosum Snow-in-summer grows 4-10 in.; Dianthus deltoides ?Brilliant? Brilliant Maiden Pink grows 6-8 in.; Eriogonum umbellatum Yellow sulfur flower grows 6-12 in.; Heuchera sanguinea ?Firefly? Firefly Coral Bells grows 8-18 in.; Linum flavum ?Compactum? Dwarf golden flax grows 10-15 in.; Penstemon caespitosus Creeping penstemon grows 3-6 in.

There are lots of other plants suitable for a rock garden. When you're at the garden center, look for plants that prefer growing in full sun, in dry soil.

Best wishes with your rock garden!
