does the flower need cut off the bulb after it dies do you have to dig them up if so do you have to dry them out (the bulb)

You can cut off the spent flower but leave the foliage alone so it dies down naturally. If you live in a cold winter area, you can leave the bulbs in the ground and they will sprout next spring. If your winters are warm, you'll need to dig the bulbs and store them in a cool place until fall, then refrigerate them for a period of 14-16 weeks prior to replanting them in January.
