|I have a space on the south by east side of my house which is between my neighbor's house and my Bradfords' which are between 30-38 years old (yes, I know they split easily but they are next to the gargage (sp. sorry) wall and are fine. I also have 3 dwarf fruit trees there also and a pin oak tree. As my neighbor has removed the trees next to her house which was shading my woodland and my lovely hostas. I am trying to think of a tree other than crabapples that would fit a space between 15-20 feet wide and 15-20 feet tall with privacy at the top. Hopefully, you can help me. |Answer from NGA

|Have you considered redbud? These trees bloom in the spring and produce attractive foliage for summer shade. They remain small enough to fit in the space you describe.|
Best wishes with your garden!
