I have 2 strawberry plants and I've seen them in a hanging pot and was wondering can I plant them in hanging pots and will 2 plants give me a crop or would I need more?

Each strawberry plant will produce several strawberries but the best part is that they will also grow long stems with clusters of leaves at the end. If these runners make contact with the soil they will turn into new strawberry plants. So, from your two plants you will eventually have lots of strawberry plants and lots of strawberries. You can grow strawberries in a container, but try to find a strawberry pot. This is an urn shaped pot with little cups down the sides. You plant your strawberry plant in the top and as the runners produce new plants, you tuck them into the pockets of soil around the strawberry pot. Eventually all the little cups will be filled with plants and you'll have a good harvest.

Enjoy your plants!
