My Mock Orange has been in the ground for at least six years and has never bloomed. It is in full sun and is six to eight feet tall. How can I encourage it to bloom?

The two most common reasons for failure to bloom are inadequate sunshine (not in your case) or too much fertilizer. This can happen when your mock orange is planted close to your lawn and you feed your lawn regularly, or if you regularly fertilize your garden and the mock orange gets too much nitrogen. They grow best in poor soils without supplemental feeding.
