Is it better to water greenhouse tomatoes from above or at the soil level? I need other basic greenhouse information - can you suggest some books?

In a greenhouse, where humidity tends to be higher than outside, you should water from the bottom. Watering tomato leaves in a humid environment invites disease problems. Also, watering at soil level is more efficient, since plants take up water with their roots. Here are some books/magazines/websites to get you started: "Greenhouse Growing" by Miranda Smith (Rodale Press 1995); "Greenhouse Gardener's Companion" by Shane Smith (Fulcrum Publishing, 1993); Greenhouse Grower Magazine (37841 Euclid Ave., Willoughby, OH 44094, ph# 216/942-2000; Sherry's Greenhouse
