|I purchased two of these plants in Mar 2008. I kept them in the house for about 4-6 weeks; I noticed a change in texture I thought( the brown buds forming)or maybe I confused it with the texture of an arborvitae. My concern is that I properly planted these trees outdoors in the sun. after 3-4 days I they start looking sun burnt on the side i guest the sun was hitting the most. I dug them up and put them back in the house(because I didn't want them to completely burn (die)now I am putting them on the porch to gradually wean them for the outdoors. How can I get them to looking healthy again? How can I permantly plant them outdoors? Aren't they made for sun exposure|
If light levels are too low that is going to spell problems for that species of plant. If the plant is then moved to full sun exposure after that you can get sunburn. I would gradually move it to full sun by stages over a couple or three weeks. Then plant it in a very sunny spot and keep the soil moist but not soggy wet.
Thanks for the question. Please stop in again soon!
