|I recently purchased a pink flowering dogwood tree. The information tag that comes with the tree states that the average growth size is 15'T and 10'W. |
My question is, how close to my house can I plant this tree?
|Taking into consideration the mature width of the tree, you'll want to add 3-4' so the branches won't scrape against the house and you'll have enough room between the canopy of the tree and the house to do work - paint, for instance. I'd plant it about 20' away from the house for unobstructed growth and good air circulation for the canopy.|
Enjoy your new tree!
