|How to plant a weeping cherry tree and what time a year should I plant this tree?|
|The best times to plant landscape trees and shrubs is in the spring or fall when temperatures are cool and rainfall abundant. Now is a good time to plant your weeping cherry tree. Just be sure to water it deeply once each week during the growing season to help it become established.
To plant, find a sunny spot in the yard and dig a hole slightly deeper and slightly wider than the nursery pot. Your goal is to plant it at exactly the same soil level as it is growing now. Lay the tree on its side and slide the pot off. Massage the roots a bit to help loosen them then set the tree in the hole and backfill with the soil you took out of the hole. Gently tamp the soil down then water thoroughly to help settle the soil.
Water once a week and your tree should thrive.
Best wishes with your landscape!
