|I just rerooted several baby hostas. And they get most of the day sun til around 2:00 or 3:00. Do they need a lot of sun and watering? I love to plant as a hobby, but really new at it and trying to learn. Thank you for all the help. Have a wonderful summer.|
|Although there are a few hostas that tolerate sun, as a rule hostas are shade plants. They love moist soil and are perfectly at home in a woodland garden. Until you know for sure what variety of hostas you're growing, why not move them into a shadier site? That way you won't lose them to the hot summer sunshine before you can determine whether or not they will thrive in the sun.|
Best wishes with your new hobby.
