I live in New Hampshire and have a little patio off my kitchen where I would like to plant an ornamental tree that does not grow too much or very high. Do you have any recommendations for what type of tree would be good?

I'd plant eastern redbud or dwarf weeping cherry. Both provide outstanding spring flower color and interesting growth habit.

Best wishes with your new tree!
