|to prevent black spots on the roses and leaves I read you have to mix 1 tablespoon of baking soda with 1 gallon of water. My question is, is this solution pour on the base of the rose bush since it said not to let the rose or leaves get wet?|
|No, actually you spray it on the foliage and stems of your rose bush. Even though you shouldn't get the foliage wet with routine watering, the soda/water mixture needs to come in contact with the diseased parts of your rose bush.
Best wishes with your garden!
