|Last fall I took cuttings from some healthy geranium plants I had planted in the ground and rooted them to try and overwinter them indoors. All are doing well. While not leggy, they are definitely not very full. Should cut them back? How far?
|Your geraniums will become bushier if you pinch the growing tips to force new stems. Do this early in the season before flower buds form or you'll pinch out all the flowers! Just pinch out the end of each growing tip and the plant will develop new shoots where it's been pinched, also forming new shoots lower down on the stem, as well.
