N. Miami Beach, Fl
|I live in zone 10,Miami Beach and have several corms I forgot to plant in early May. Anemone De Caen, Ranunculus(Persian Buttercup) and Large Flowering Gladioli about 10 of each. Is it too late to plant them in containers. I live in a Warm & Humid Bayfront Island that can get windy if too breezy although that's pretty much over since our summer like weather already began. There's a huge tree in the back patio , so there's plenty of dappled shade if needed. there are also areas w/ plenty of sun. Where I wish to put the pot it gets at least 4 hrs of sun and protection. Can I still plant my flowers? And if I have to wait till fall will they flower then? My small apt. is quite cool. Thank you !|Answer from NGA

|I'd plant the bulbs now. It isn't too late. They will grow well in morning sun and afternoon shade so the site you've chosen to put the pot sounds just fine. |
Enjoy your flowers!
