When should I start marigold and zinnia seeds, and when should I transplant them outdoors?

Marigolds and zinnias each take about 6 weeks to develop to transplant size. Spring planting dates for your area are April 15 - May 1. Start your seeds now and they'll be big enough to put outdoors in mid-April.
