What is the difference between Annuals and Perennials? |
An annual grows from seed, blooms, sets seed, and dies all in one season. A perennial lives for three years or more and while it may bloom and set seed each year, it comes back from the roots. A biennial grows from seed the first year, winters over, then grows, blooms, sets seed, and dies the second year. Hope this clarifies things for you. |
