Lourdes,

It is not the Oak tree creating the acidity problem. The Oak tree came cause a problem by shading out lower growing plants to us making it more difficult to come up with good options for blooms. For colorful bedding plants, try impatiens, coleus, wax begonia,
pentas, salvias, caladium and torenia in summer. Colorful foliage plants include Persian shield, chicken gizzard (Iresene), Purple Heart, and caladiums.

However you still have many other good choices the following website lists a number of different plants are shady spots:
