|My miniature rose bush started out this season with a lot of healthy looking leaves. Then several weeks ago we had many beautiful flowers, even as leaves began to drop. Then we had all flowers and no leaves. Now even the flowers have died. I did spray a fungicide on it when the leaves were dropping. I saw no difference and was reluctant to spray it again. Help!|
|If the leaves were not spotted, a fungicide was not warranted. I'd hold off on the fungicide treatment and provide the plant will more sunshine - at least 5 hours a day. Miniature rose plant can be grown indoors for a limited time. They need high light and humidity to bloom well. Additional artificial lights and a moist pebble tray will help improve their growing requirements, especially during the winter. They should be kept moist at all times but do not allowed to stand in water; drain any excess water so that roots won?t drown and rot. A cool spot (60-72F) with bright indirect sunlight will encourage reblooming. If the plant is actively growing feed it with a flowering houseplant fertilizer to encourage new blooms. Remove any withered blooms and yellowing leaves. If your plant has dropped all of its leaves you may want to prune it back a bit to encourage new growth. As it grows new stems it should also grow new leaves.
Best wishes with your plant!
