I have two indoor plants one small tree its 3 in one container I bought it that way and one big tree/bush that I bought I have had them for about 4 months now and they seem to be dying the small ones leaves are turning brown from the tips up and the large tree is has gone brittle and is just dying I dont know what is wrong with them everything in my home has remained the same Do you think I may have over watered them or something They havent been taking as much water it has been left over in the bottom of the containers Can you please help me

I think the number one problem with houseplants is overwatering and that might be the problem with your plants if the tips of the leaves are turning brown. When the potting soil remains soggy wet it excludes oxygen and plant roots need oxygen as much as they need moisture. Try dumping the excess water out of the trays and withholding water until the top half-inch of soil is dry. Then water thoroughly but don't water again until the top of the soil dries out. If you catch it soon enough and allow the soil to dry out a bit between waterings, the roots may have a chance to recover.
