I have planted a carpet rose for the first time this year. I have had other roses bushes before and they seem to always be covered with bugs that harm the plant. Is there a natural way to rid the plant of these bugs instead of buying insecticide chemicals?

You've made a wise choice! Carpet roses were bred for easy care and pest and disease resistance so I don't think you'll have the same problems with your carpet rose as you've had with your hybrid rose shrubs. Aside from regular watering, your carpet rose is low maintenance in terms of pruning, insect or disease sprays, and fertilizing. Just enjoy your new plant!
