|Am making a light cart and need to know exactly what type of fluorescent lights to use. My instructions mention using commercial grade fixtures rather than shop lights. I'm confused as to what they sell at True Value hardware stores.

|What sets "commercial grade" fixtures apart from "shop lights" is the quality of the ballast inside the fixture. A cheap shop light has a cheap ballast which can wear out more quickly than a commercial grade light. Call a local electrical supply house or ask the salespeople at True Value for help. And congratulations on putting together your own light cart - I've had that on my to-do list for years!
