The Graber Pyracanthas in our yard are losing their leaves and the berries are drying up! Some thing is eating the branches bare! What is this and what do I need to do to recover the plants? Thanks for your help.

If the leaves are striped from the branches, it's likely that deer have been munching on your plants. It's normal for the berries to dry up - they're last year's berries. New berries will form later this summer and will hang on all winter long. I'd prune back the affected branches - new growth will develop wherever you cut. As for keeping deer away, you might want to try one of the deer deterent sprays available at garden centers.

Good luck with your garden!
