I live in SD and plant mums every year. But they never come back. Are they really not perennial in this area, or is there something I need to do to protect them from the SD Winter? Thanks for your help. Diana |
Although some chrysanthemums are considered extremely hardy, not all will overwinter in your gardening zone. If mums have not been hardy in your area, you could try potting them and moving them to a more protected area of the garden for the winter and return them to their intended spot in the spring. Good luck with your mums! |
