|Purchased some Peonie bulbs this summer and planted them as instructed, but they aren't doing anything.
Should I dig them back up and hold them for spring or leave them alone where they are.
Want to also get some Bearded Iris, when is the best time for planting here.
|Peonies resent being disturbed so if you planted according to instructions, they should be fine and I expect they'll produce new sprouts next spring. Peonies are usually planted in the spring. If you didn't plant until this summer, the roots were probably slow to establish. By next spring they should pop right up. You can plant irises now or in the spring. Whenever they are available in the garden centers is the best time for planting in your region. Best wishes with your garden!|
