That is a pretty wide open question. Regarding bulbs among the most dependable and natualizing bulbs for the south are Daffodils, Hardy Gladiolus (Gladiolus byzantinus), Lady Tulip (Tulipa clusiana), Pink Magic Lily (Lycoris squamigera), Red Spider Lily (Lycoris radiata), daffodils/narcissus (some naturalize quite well), amaryllis (especially the old southern garden type Hippeastrum johnsonii), Schoolhouse Lilies (also called Oxblood lilies, Rhodophiala bifida), and Spider Lily (Lycoris radiata and L. squamigera), and Summer Snowflake (Leucojum aestivum).
