Hello! I have an Autumn Joy Stonecrop and it has what looks like black bugs all over its leaves. Is there something I can do to save the plant or is it a lost cause? Thanks for your help.

Sedum Autumn Joy is generally pest free, although sometimes caterpillars will feed on the flower buds. Check carefully to see if the black "bugs" are actually frass (caterpillar poop). If you brush your hand over the plant, frass will fall to the ground; insects will not. If you discover the black spots are frass, look for tiny green caterpillars. You can hand pick them or use the botanical Bt (sold as Dipel). Hope this information helps!
