daffodils to exume or not - Knowledgebase Question

do i need to remove bulbs in summer. my gf believes we should, once removed they should be refridgerated to mimic winter.
any help would be nice, thank you

Daffodils are one of the bulb types with a low chilling requirement and they will grow well in Phoenix if left in the ground all year around. You don't need to dig them and refrigerate them as you would for high chilling requirement bulbs such as tulips. Your daffodils can remain in the ground.
