There's nothing you need to do for your Bleeding Heart. The foliage will die down after the first frost. Remove this from the garden and then place several inches of organic mulch over the crown of the plant. This will provide protection for the roots during the winter months. In the spring, rake away the organic matter and the plant will send up new shoots.
