Wildflower seeds can be sown in either fall or in spring. To prepare the soil simply rake it to roughen it up a bit, broadcast the seeds, and then sprinkle a light layer of compost or peat moss over the top to discourage the birds from feasting on the seeds. If you sow the seeds now, they'll pop right up as soon as spring weather arrives. If you sow the seeds in spring, they will take several weeks to germinate. I vote for sowing them now. Enjoy your new garden!
