|Can I get any results from planting seed from poppies?
I have a neighbor who has different color poppies other than orange and would like to get some started in my flower garden. Thank You, Bern
|You can easily sow poppies from seeds you collect in the summertime. Allow the flowers to produce seedheads. When the seed capsules turn tan and the holes on top open, cut the head from the stem and shake the seeds out into a container. These can be used in cooking or saved and sown in the spring. Save by placing the seeds in an airtight container and store in a cool, dark place. Enjoy your new poppy plants!|
