I live in NY and just purchased creeping roses. It is autumn here now and getting cold. I am unsure if I should plant them now or wait. If I do have to wait where can I store them so they wont bloom out of season?
Also I purchased emerald green arborvarte trees is it good idea to plant those now?

You can plant landscape trees and shrubs any time the ground is not frozen. I'd go ahead and plant them in the garden now and water them well to help settle the soil. The roots should still have time to become established before the ground freezes and your plants will be ready to grow in the springtime. Enjoy!
