We planted last year's poinsettia in a pot and it has done very well. It has grown larger, has healthy leaves.

Your question was incomplete, but based upon the types of questions about poinsettias we've been recently getting, I'm going to guess that your poinsettia isn't showing any color. Most poinsettias are photoperiodic, meaning that daylength is what triggers the change in leaf color. It's too late for this year, but next year, put it into a very sunny location until sometime in September or early October when you will place it in TOTAL darkness for 13-14 hours every night. I typically place mine in a closet at 5 p.m. and bring it back out at 7 a.m. This period of darkness is REALLY important. When the bracts have colored, bring the plant out into regular daytime light and average room temperatures. Best wishes with your poinsettia!
