Geraniums, impatiens and petunias are hardy bloomers that thrive in many zones. You might also want to try pansies, dahlias, salvia, phlox, coleus (Solenostemon), asters and begonias. Even though some annuals are exceptionally tolerant of a wide variety of soils, It?s best to plant annuals in well-drained, loose, loamy soil as soon as spring weather is here to stay. To keep them blooming regularly deadhead as needed and treat them with monthly applications of a complete fertilizer (such as a 10-10-10 formulation). Check out a wide selection of Viva! and Proven Winners all-season in store.
