Because of your mild winter weather, you'll want to grow low-chill varieties. these trees will produce fruit without a pronounced winter chill. Some apricot varieties to look for include Goldkist, Early Gold, Newcastle. Nectarines to plant include Gold Mine, Panamint, Silver Lode, Snow Queen and Sunred. As with all fruit trees, plant them in full sunshine and water deeply once each week. This is especially important when fruit is forming. Best wishes with your new fruit trees!
