Was thinking about planting Razzle Berry plant in front of fountain. Was told would get 1-1 1/2 ft tall? Does it come in pink? |
Loropetalum chinense Razzleberry grows about 6' tall and wide. Loropetalum chinense 'Ruby' might be a better choice. It is a bushy upright evergreen shrub with graceful arching stems. Perhaps the smallest loropetalum cultivar, only 3' tall, it is well-suited for foundation plantings and low hedges. Prune and shape after bloom to maintain architectural beauty. Leaves emerge as a bright ruby-red and darken to a deep maroon by fall. Flowers are a hot fuchsia-pink and resemble Witch Hazel blossoms. Prefers moist acidic well-drained soil in sun to part-shade, but is not too fussy. |
