Oxalis is so difficult to eradicate from an existing lawn that it is almost easier to completely redo the lawn and start all over. Warm season grasses will grow well in your region - Bermuda, St. Augustine, Centipede, etc. I would rototill the entire yard, remove the weeds, roots and other debris, then replant. A healthy turf will be thick and dense enough to crowd out future weeds. Best wishes with your lawn renovation project!
