I have a lemon tree that has only one branch alive, the rest of them look dead. What do I have to do? cut the rest of them or this tree is going to die anyways? Is that a disease? |
If your lemon tree has only one live branch, there is obviously a problem with it, but it is not necessarily a disease. Lemon trees need lots of water all year around, but they also need soil that drains quickly. Dead branches can indicate inadequate watering or excessive moisture in the soil which may lead to root rot. I hope the prognosis is good for your tree - try pruning off the dead branches and perhaps your tree will produce healthy new branches. Hope so! |
