Are the white plastic buckets that pickles, etc., come in a suitable in size for the root systems of tomatoes, zucchini, and squash ?

Those white plastic buckets are generally five-gallon size and are suitable for gardening containers if you first punch, cut, or drill several good-sized drainage holes in the bottoms of them. It's a great way to recycle the buckets!
