|Whiteflies do not leave webbing, so that's not the problem. Small spiders love arborvitae and junipers so that might be what's causing the webbing, or your plants might have a population of spider mites. These tiny little insects leave webbing and especially like living in junipers and arborvitaes. Your best defense is to spray your plants off with a strong stream of water. Do this periodically and you'll keep those web weaving pests at bay. Be sure to direct the spray into the centers of the plants to dislodge the pests hiding in the dry and dusty branches where rain doesn't reach.
