my lawn is st.augustine grass.the last cold spell killed a lot of it. is there a st augustine seed or do i have to replace the sod

Seed for St. Augustine is not readily available yet so if the dead areas are large, I'd recommend purchasing plugs or sprigs. If the areas are small you should be able to take plugs from your own lawn and put them into the bare areas. Best wishes with your lawn!
