|Neorgelia bromeliads are medium-sized, compact plants growing terrestrially or on lower limbs of trees in shaded areas. If yours is in a south facing window it may be getting too much light and the leaves may be showing their discomfort by turning brown on the edges. Since the leaves are manufacturing food for the plant through photosynthesis, do not remove them from the plant. As long as they are mostly green, they are doing their job. I would move the plant back from the window and try to increase the humdity around the plant by setting the pot on a pebble filled tray in which you keep a half inch of water. As the water evaporates it will increase humditiy around the plant. Since you have only had your plant in your home for a month, expect it to show some signs of stress until it adjusts to the new growing conditions.
Best wishes with your bromeliad!
