It doesn't sound good for your tree! It is difficult to diagnose a problem without actually seeing it, but here are some of the things that might be happening: The flowers and fruit indicate the tree's roots are still healthy so the leaf drop might be the result of fertilizer burn, wind, cold temperatures or water stress. You can't change the weather but you can make sure that your lemon tree has adequate water, well draining soil and enough but not too much fertilizer. Begin by soaking the soil around the roots. This will saturate the root mass and leach out any excess salts from fertilizer. Then water deeply once or twice a week to provide enough moisture to the roots but still allow the soil to drain well between waterings. Hope this helps your tree regain its health!
