I have a bank with st johns wart on it. I cut it back every Spring and it does not bloom very much. Is this the time to trim it. I like the dark color it turns in the fall. Thanks

If you wait until after your St. John's Wort blooms and prune it back in late summer or early fall, you won't lose so many flowers. Timing is everything!
