I have a spot in my garden, where the soil is really wet, I think there is ground water coming from the slope, or something. I am not sure. Could you suggest plants to plant and grow in a really wet area. Thank you. Jenna.

Although most plants dislike soggy soils, there are a few perennials that seem to thrive under those conditions. These include astilbe, bleeding heart, clustered bellflower, white boltonia, black snakeroot, yellow loosestrife, ostrich fern, bee balm, Virginia spiderwort, goat's beard and yellowflag.
