The undersides of magnolia leaves are naturally covered with fuzz so be sure what you are seeing is a fungus and not the natural coating on the leaves. Take a few of the leaves into a well staffed nursery or into your local Cooperative Extension office for positive diagnosis. You may find that no treatment at all is necessary.
