when can i start planting do i start putting down the soil and what plants tha t i can plant for sun light and that dose'nt need to much watering

Before planting, remove any weeds from the planting bed and spread 3-4 inches of organic matter over the top, digging it in to a depth of 8-10 inches. Level the soil and then plant your new plants. Some of the most popular drought tolerant plants include Salvia greggii, Butterfly bush, Thyme, Daylilies, Artemesia, Rockrose, Coneflower, daisy, Mexican hat, Black-eyed Susan, Columbine and lavender.
