I have 3 knock-out rose bushes that I planted last year that were actually too large for what I wanted. Can I keep them pruned back all season long tothe size I want? Should I try to transplant them to another area and when? |
While you can prune carpet roses each year I think it would be best to move yours to another area of the garden where they can grow normally. If you continually cut them back you will be removing all of the new growth, which is where the flowers develop. I would move them so they can have the necessary space to put on their flower show. You can dig and transplant them at any time of the year: spring and fall are the best seasons to move plants. |
